Lucky House Chinese Restaurant is a great local spot that focuses on well-executed Szechwan and Cantonese cuisine. If you're looking for a simple, clean, and friendly dining experience, I recommend giving them a try.
The dining room is straightforward, but impeccably clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere. What truly elevates the experience is the service—the staff are friendly and very helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I tried a couple of their signature dishes, with one minor surprise: Spicy Chicken: I ordered this assuming it would be sliced, stir-fried chicken in a spicy sauce, but it arrived breaded and deep-fried. While it wasn't what I expected, it was undeniably delicious. For those who prefer a non-breaded, stir-fry style, you might want to ask or choose a different dish, but if you enjoy a crispy-style spicy chicken, you won't be disappointed. (7/10)
Fried Rice: This was a standout. The fried rice was excellent—it had a perfect amount of moisture and was very flavourful. It’s clear they pay attention to the basics here. (9/10)
Service was great throughout the meal. I appreciate the variety of Szechwan and Cantonese options available and would definitely love to try other dishes on my next visit. Lucky House offers a solid, tasty meal in a simple setting with fantastic service.
