Over all: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Atmosphere: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Postmark Hotel proved to be a beautiful and well designed respite during our recent drive outside of Toronto. The lobby's design, particularly the Filament style light fixtures, is stunning and sets a high standard for the atmosphere. The facilities are clearly well-maintained and clean, adding to the overall luxurious ambiance.

The initial service was excellent, highlighted by a knowledgeable waiter who provided a great wine suggestion. However, the service became inconsistent when our original server did not return, requiring another staff member to take over.

The appetizers offered a decent experience, but there were some slight inconsistencies:

Grill and Chill Shrimp Cocktail (8/10):

A decent dish, though the shrimp texture was slightly rubbery despite the nice char marks.

Fried Calamari (8/10):

Crispy and well flavoured, with the garlic mayo being a great addition.

Spring Rolls (7/10):

This felt like a missed opportunity; they tasted like a standard, mass-manufactured quick-serve item, which contrasts with the hotel's high-end aesthetic.

Caesar Salad (7/10):

The sauce and the sourdough croutons were nice, but the lettuce was slightly wilted, which was noted by our whole party.

Overall: We had a good experience primarily due to the beautiful ambiance and facilities. To fully match the hotel's sophisticated aesthetic, we recommend focusing on consistency in service and elevating items like the spring rolls and salad freshness to the high standard set by the hotel's design.
